Strawberries are one of my favorite berries! Their fleshy and juicy fruit is incredibly delicious and satisfying. Strawberries are a great source of fiber and Vitamin C. Some studies show that eating this berry helps prevent cardiovascular disease because of their high antioxidant content. I love to snack on fresh strawberries and use frozen ones in my smoothies. They add a great touch of natural sugar and healthy carbohydrates while making the smoothie thick (frozen fruit makes smoothie thicker!). Strawberries are going to be out of season soon, so eat up everyone!
